Mini-Vacation

After spending all day Saturday trying to convince Nick to re-hang all the pictures in our apartment to different places and/or buy me a new couch he decided our family needed a get-away. YEA!! After church on Sunday we loaded up the girls, drove to Disneyland, checked into a cheap hotel and rested up for an Adventure-Packed-Monday at the Magical Kingdom.

The girls and I getting our nails princesses ready Sunday night while Audrey and Nick watched some football...
Princesses sightings... Paige is starting to get into the princesses-thing, which is kind-of fun, and Hannah is finally getting brave enough to go up to them. Hannah also voiced a lot of concerns on Monday about where all the princesses live and was not buying into the notion they all share one castle...
Paige hanging out by Lighting while Hannah and Nick went on Soaring California...Hannah also went on another "big" ride, Space Mountain. When we got off I asked her if she liked the ride. She told me "the dark, fast part" scared her. (For those who don't know, Space Mountain is a roller-coaster in the dark!) We might wait a few more months before we try that one again.
Can't get enough of the Tea Cups... oh wait, yes you can!
We even saw the Army guys from Toy Story... that was a first...
If anything, Disneyland promises one thing... really tired kids!
Who loves Mickey? WE DO!!! (Maybe not Paige...she has a pretty concerned look on her face.)

Hey we saw your Blog on Natalie and Gavins and it is so cute! The girls look like they had a blast at Disney Land and what a great Dad for doing a spur of the moment trip!

Fun, fun, fun! We met the same Ariel and Belle...much more realistic than the creepy 40-year-old-no-way-she's-a-blonde Sleeping Beauty we met...

Space Mountain is one of my FAVORITES!

Wish we could have gone with you!
