Point Mugu

To celebrate the end of the school year, we took the girls north to Point Mugu for a weekend camping trip.  Here is a quick run-down of our amazing trip...

Friday

*Set-up camp

*Bug hunt around camp...which turned into a rock hunt

*Walk along the beach and rock climbing

*Played UNO at the beach

(Hannah won all the games!!!)

*Healthy dose of marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate

Saturday

*Doughnuts with breakfast

*Epic wrestling match with Dad in the tent

(Dad is still the Zent Fam Champion)

*Went on a hike...which turned a bit more steep then we anticipated

*From the top of the hike, Nick convinced the girls the

rocks he was throwing were making it to the ocean

*Family Nap Time

*Afternoon at the beach

(When we left camp it was chilly so I didn't put anyone in a swimsuit.

Silly me...what kid goes to the beach without getting wet?

Audrey was the lucky one because 2-year olds can get away with just wearing underwear.)

Sunday

*Worked on our frisbee skills around camp

*Nick lead the girls on a final bug hunt

(He found some awesome bugs but his hunters weren't very brave)

*Packed-up camp

*Watch a movie on the drive home

(Why we love taking Dad's car!)

What was your favorite part of the camping trip?

*Paige: "Getting my new camping chair and making s'mores"

*Hannah: "Going on a hike and watching Dad make a fire without a match."

*Audrey: "Playing at the beach."

*Dad: "Going on a bug hunt with the girls."

*Mom: "Playing UNO on the beach."
