New Years Day found us driving on these very empty free-ways:
ending up at this street:
eating a bunch of snacks:
to watch nothing else then the Rose Bowl Parade. This is our second year to head into Pasadena to watch the parade and I LOVE IT!! Thanks to my friend Andrea's early morning, we had amazing seats this year and enjoyed all the bands, horses, and floats the parade had to offer. My top pick band of the year were these guys from a high school in Georgia. The whole band could throw it down:

All the floats are beyond amazing but these couple had to be among the top:
