Nothing screams date night at the Zent house like popcorn...popcorn ceilings that is.
One cannot keep a secret as great as a "Popcorn Date" to themselves so I just have to share!! All you need is a sprayer...
and a trowel. Both can be reused for your next date night. How economical!
Spray water on the ceiling and scrape. Just like magic the popcorn is removed. Added bonus, nothing rekindles the flame like cleaning up a mess together.
All you (and your date) are left with is one yummy, ready to mud/sand/prime/paint ceiling.
Easy, cheap, and a great way to spend some quality time together after those kidos are fast asleep!!! Your 1950's ceilings will thank you...and so will your marriage (he, he, he)!!!!

Haha! I remember my parents doing that...all the kids were banned to a plastic-encased room with a TV and a jumbo bag of sweet tarts. I guess truly great dates endure through the generations :)
Sounds like an awesome date. Maybe you could save us a room and we could come scrape your ceilings for our next date night....
