Backpacking with my Dad

My Dad and I went on a backpack trip for 1 night when we were at the cabin.  I had to pack: a sleeping bag, clothes, compass, knife, food, hammock, and wet wipes.  We hiked about 1.5 miles, set up camp, then went fishing.  I caught a fish.  I'm awesome!  For dinner we had noodles and hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows.  We forgot forks so we had to whittle sticks to use.  It got so cold during the night we had to put our sleeping bags together and sleep in the same hammock.  In the morning we hiked back to the cabin in time for breakfast.  I had a really fun time with my Dad and would maybe go backpacking again.
